Art World School students had the thrilling opportunity to showcase their talents at the 9th Annual ICFF Art Showcase in Seattle, Washington, marking their debut appearance at the event! A total of 17 students from Art World School proudly displayed their artwork at Fishers Pavilion in downtown Seattle from 11am to 6pm on April 21st and 22nd, 2024.
This year’s theme, “My Favorite Place,” inspired students to explore various mediums including pastels, sketching, watercolor, and acrylic painting to bring their visions to life. Some students even submitted more than one piece for the showcase.
Director Mimi’s Mentorship in Fine Art Program
Under the guidance of Director Mimi in the Fine Art Program, students dedicated themselves to creating their entries during 90-minute group classes and 45-minute one-on-one sessions. Starting with conceptualizing compositions based on the theme, students sketched their ideas and meticulously added details to bring them to fruition.
Director Mimi encouraged students to blend their unique artistic styles with techniques taught in the Fine Art Program, empowering them to express their ideas effectively and achieve their desired artistic effects.
Community Engagement and Talent Showcase
Director Mimi is committed to fostering community engagement and providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents. Through her efforts, Art World School students are encouraged to explore the potential of their art and seek inspiration from various events and art shows.
Students participating in Art World School camps, the After School Program, or any Fine Art Program classes are always encouraged to take advantage of opportunities provided by the school.
