Congratulations to all the students from Art World School! It was some of the student’s first time participating in an art contest and their achievement in this contest shows in their works, which they spent many classes working on. Some of them worked more on their entries at home after obtaining feedback from Art World School director Mimi. Each Art World School student chose their own fish, conducted research about their fish to prepare for the contest, then designed their compositions in art classes at Art World school under the instruction of Director Mimi – who works with students in 90 minute group classes and one-on-one classes. Students can use the medium of their choice and can work on them in the Fine Art Program at the school, which allows students to schedule classes whenever they like to work on their own projects with individual instruction from the teacher.

Since its establishment in 1997, Art World School has utilized successful class structures and teaching methods to cultivate numerous young artists. Art World School strongly believes in optimizing teaching quality by having teachers work with each students individually in group classes or in one-on-one classes, for a student-centered approach that allows each student to always work on projects which suit their own level and interests. This has allowed each student to grow as an artist with their own style, and also learn exactly what they needed to at the school. This has also allowed students to create strong art portfolios with different types of art that expresses themselves as artists, successfully participate in various art contest and events, and create the kind of works that they have always wanted to.

Art World School students have won 18 state/national art works so far this year, and is waiting on results for more contests that have yet to announce the winners. These art contests have themes and topics that many students find inspiring for artworks they create that are not only intended for the contest, but becomes work that they are proud of and showcase their personal development. Art World School teachers try to make the process of working on these more extensive pieces enjoyable for the students and encourage them learn as much as they can from working on every detail. All students who dedicate time on working on extensive pieces should be proud of the work they put into their artwork and enjoy the process, as much as the rewarding results.
