Cartoons/Anime/Comic Drawing Classes have been the gateway to art for many young and old for decades now. Whether it’s Pokemon, Teen Titans GO, or Demon Slayer, sequential storytelling of all kinds has wowed its audience and left them hungering to tell their own stories.

That said, comics are more complicated than you think. How do you draw people? Animals? How do you plan out and write the story? What about the text bubbles? The more you look at a professional comic, the more there is to think about and execute!

To help with this, Art World School is excited to announce that for a limited time, we are opening weekly Cartoons/Anime/Comic drawing classes for all ages! The classes will be taught from 6:45pm-8:00pm every Friday starting from April 19th and going to May 17th. Each class will be taught by our teachers, who are professional illustrators, with supplies (Copic Markers, Pens, Marker Paper) being included. If you purchase a package of 4 classes, you’ll get a free blank Manga Book as well!

In each class, students will further their knowledge of figure drawing, storyboarding, and how to plan and execute the creation of a story in book form. By the end of the Event class on May 17th, every student should leave with a short comic finished, and even those who could only attend some of the classes should feel ready to begin their comic creation journey! The teachers will guide the students to brainstorm and flesh out story ideas, write the script/storyboard the panels, and provide their usual feedback and assistance with complicated topics like human anatomy. This will allow for students of all ages and abilities to feel comfortable and confident in their ability to tell a sequential story.
