Administrative Assistant/Teacher

Kat is a sophomore Communication & Product Design major, Philosophy minor at the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts at Howard University—with aspirations to become a footwear designer upon graduation. In high school, she worked for nearly two years as a youth swim instructor where she discovered her love of teaching and mentoring kids. Guided by a lifelong love of the arts, she considers her creative journey the channel through which she came to understand the power of her voice and realize her place in the world. Kat believes that art is not just about skill, but about storytelling and self-discovery, and she’s passionate about helping young artists find their own voice through creative expression.
