Spring break is a great time for kids to be creative, and the Spring Break Art Camp in Beaverton is the perfect place for them to explore art. This camp welcomes young artists of all ages to enjoy hands-on activities and fun projects.

From March 24 – March 28, 2025, kids will learn from skilled instructors in a lively and inspiring space. The camp is packed with exciting lessons and activities to spark their imagination.

A Unique Theme Every Day

Each of the six daily classes at the camp will introduce a new, spring-themed project, allowing students to explore a variety of artistic styles and techniques. The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, which are given as:

Animals: Learn how to bring wildlife to life with different art mediums.

Landscape: Capture the beauty of spring scenery using painting and drawing techniques.

Portraiture:  Develop skills in sketching and shading to create expressive faces.

Artist Studies: Explore the work of famous artists and try their techniques.

Clay & 3D Art: Sculpt and build unique projects inspired by the season.

Students will work with different materials and techniques each day, helping them develop a strong foundation in the arts while having fun.

Age-Specific Classes for Personalized Learning

To ensure every child gets the best experience, classes are divided by age group:

Class 1 for Ages 4-6

Class 2 for Ages 7-9

Class 3 for Ages 10+

Each class follows the same schedule but has its own teacher and projects suited for the age group. With only 15 students per class, every child gets personal help from artists and assistants.

Daily Schedule

Kids enjoy a mix of learning and creativity at our Spring Break Art Camp. Check out our daily schedule, given as:

8:00am – 8:45am:  Before Care (Optional, extra fee).

8:45am – 9:00am: Arrival & Welcome.

9:00am – 10:00am: Fine Art Class (Drawing & Painting).

10:30am – 11:30am: Clay Class (Hands-on sculpting fun!).

11:30am – 12:15pm: Lunch Break (Students bring their own food).

12:15pm – 1:15pm: Choice Activity-Yoga, STEM class, or outdoor play at Somerset West Playground (weather permitting).

2:00pm – 3:15pm: Art & Calligraphy Class.

3:30pm – 4:45pm: Arts & Crafts / 3D Art.

5:00pm – 6:00pm: Studio Art (Students select and complete a personal project, with options for digital art for ages 7+.).

6:00pm – 6:30pm: Pick-Up Time.

This schedule gives kids a great mix of learning, creativity, and fun. With different art activities and playtime, they’ll have an exciting and memorable spring break!
