Preschool Art Classes

Both of my kids have studied with Mimi and loved the class. My daughter, who is now almost 8, looks forward to the weekly classes and drawings. Mimi does a great job of teaching technique to the kids and making it a fun experience. I highly recommend it for your budding artist!

It has been three years since I took my son to art world school to learn painting. Their teachers are very kind and patient. In addition to painting, they also have clay class, calligraphy class, craft class, different courses let children fully learn what they like. My son also likes here very much. He has improved his painting skills and won a creative award in an international competition earlier this year! I appreciated the teachers for their efforts and encouragement!

Both of my children age 7, and age 10 go to this art studio. I am really happy with the teacher. She is very passionate about art and teaching kids. She pays attention to every single detail when she introduces any new art skill to kids. I would highly recommend this art school to anyone who is interested in learning art.

My 7yr old daughter loves to come to Art World for their summer camps. She has a blast with all the art projects and is very excited to show-off all the crafts she made when she gets home.

My son has been attending the class for some time and he is really excited to try the techniques at home. I like the part that kids do not feel overwhelmed and they get to draw their favorite pictures too using the techniques teachers teach. In this pandemic time too, I see how well the class is maintained and all the precautions are adhered to. That made me feel safe in sending my son for in-person classes. Thank you Mimi and to your wonderful staff for making my son feel art interesting and fun :) :)!

My sister and I started learning here when I we were 6, and it is a great art school.

We have been sending our daughter for a year and have seen such a vast improvement. She now loves to doodle on her own and can now attach color to her drawings. The staff is great and Ms. Mimi is very easy to work with. Overall, great art program and highly recommend their camps. It’s a great way to keep the kids mentally stimulated during break!

Mimi is an excellent teacher. Our son loves going to art class with her. Every weekend we are so excited to see what our son has learned. Mini takes the time to personally help each child and works with them at their level and pace. Once our daughter is a little older she will be going to learn drawing and painting with Mimi as well. Highly recommended!

My son is always excited to attend Mimi’s art class, started 3 years ago. Mimi is very kind and patient with the kids, and helps them to gradually develop various artistic skills. I can see noticeable improvements in the artwork that was brought home every few weeks. The complexities of the artworks also increased over time. My son seems to be able to learn all these skills while having fun in the class. Highly recommend this teacher.

We've been very happy with the Art World School. The school offers many programs for a number of different times, and Mimi works hard to accommodate our schedule whenever we ask. We also appreciate that the school organizes fun and interesting events for students, and that students' work is nicely acknowledged!

My daughter says: Ms. Mimi is a great art teacher and helps me a lot by letting me work freely, use different materials, and draw many fun things. She has good rules but isn’t overly strict and her classes are just the right length. She has taught me many cool techniques.

My kid start going to Art world school since 2019. He has a little bit ADHD, hard to sit still and keep focus. After 3 years learning drawing, he has good observation skill and keep focus, sit for full hour in drawing. I m very impressed about how Teacher Mimi delicate in her teaching. I send my 2nd kid to her school this Summer.

We have been so pleased with Art World School for our daughter! The art work she brings home blows us away and she is so proud with how she’s advanced in her techniques. There are precautions being taken to keep students and staff safe, making it a wonderful indoor option. I would highly recommend Art World School for any young artist!

Our 7 year old daughter is really enjoying the art classes at Mimi's Art World school. She has taken a mix of in-person and online classes and have enjoyed both the formats. Mimi's is very professional and attentive to the needs of budding artists at different skill levels. She makes the class interesting for the kids. In addition, we also had a small birthday party for our daughter here with 5 other kids. All the kids really enjoyed the fun art activity that mimi had organized. I would highly recommend the place and urge anyone interested to try out the free art class offered here.

Mimi and Jiao-Ying are both amazing teachers who have their students best interest I heart. I have been attending this school since I was 8 and I have never regretted it.

Started art class with Mimi since my daughter was 4, now almost 3 years she has been painting with Mimi. My daughter definitely enjoys this art class and is looking forward to sketching. I can see her progress with every piece of art work. Mimi takes time preparing class materials, and gives enough attention to each individuals at class. The best thing is that she is really a kind mentor that new techniques are being added gradually. This is a really good place if your kids are interested in art and want to develop as a hobby.

Mimi is very patient and have a way to teach little kids learning art. My daughter has been learning all different drawing styles with her for about 2 + years. She has changed from a little kid who was afraid of making bad drawings to a confident kid who can express her own ideas when telling stories. Her love of colors is intensified in water color and acrylic drawings. And most of all, drawing class becomes one of her favorite after school classes.

My 6-year old has been with Mimi's studio for 2 years. She loves Mimi and really enjoying the class. Mimi is very patient with kids. Really recommend!

Our family of 6, kids ages 8 to 14, had a very enjoyable time celebrating one child's birthday here. In two hours, the instructor guided our family through two art projects, both of the child's choosing. One was collaborative the other individual projects. The instructor was well prepared with supplies beforehand, gave good instructions so everyone was engaged, and was positive and helpful. We appreciated the calm atmosphere, too, and periods of silence while everyone concentrated on their projects. Unexpectedly, on our way out, Mimi gifted the birthday girl with an art gift, which I thought was a lovely, thoughtful gesture.

Wonderful school with great teachers and art programs that caters to kids of various ages. They have great programs and Mimi has great patience with the kids. Highly recommended.

Great place for kids to learn art. Classroom is kept nice and clean with nice decor. Teachers at Art World are patient and great with kids. They made the class fun and let the kids fully immersed in their art work. My daughter has been going to the fine art class and clay class for quite some time and I can see all the great progress she made so far, and how proud she is with her art work!

Both my kids 5 & 7 have been going to Ms. Mimi's art class for over a year now. She is an excellent teacher and awesome artist, loves to teach kids and have lots of patience to teach them art nuiances. We certainly see progress in our kids, they started with sketchig a line and can draw and paint beautiful piece of art now, Love it!!

We love Art World School! We signed our daughter up for summer camp and she looks forward to it so much. We love that we can tailor the schedule to our needs each week and our daughter still gets an incredible art experience, learning new skills and techniques each time.

My 5-year old daughter routinely goes to weekend morning group art classes and occasionally no-school day camps, and she enjoys them! The instructors are knowledgeable and have good ability to keep the kids interest and maintain a peaceful and educational environment. The online scheduling system is easy to use. I love the fact that there are plenty of time options to choose from when I need to take a short break from my kid lol....I just sign her up for art classes. It's a win-win!

Ms. Jiao and Mimi are amazing! I highly recommend them and Art World School. They will be great for your little artists. My 7 year-old daughter has been taking their classes for 3 years. She finds the time spent with them very happy and valuable. It is rare to find such patient, enthusiastic and knowledgeable art teachers that a kid can relate to!

My daughter began to learn drawing with Miss.Mimi from 4years, we definitely recommend Miss Mimi and Ms.Jiaoying! They are so kind and patient with the kids. My daughter loves drawing since she studied from Miss Mimi, we know the drawing a long term study and I wish my daughter can keep drawing during her growth. Definitely recommend!

My son has been with Mimi for three years now. He is a kid more towards sports, but amazingly love the art class every week. Started with some basic drawings using crayon, he is starting with sketches now, and we love the pictures he drew which is filling up the walls.

Great one-on-one or small group Chinese Mandarin class options. I would recommend taking their After School program Chinese classes or Saturday Chinese classes.

I have been taking both of my daughters here for 10 years. My older daughter started when she was 5. Now she is 15 and still taking class with teacher Jiao. And my younger one also started to learn with teacher Yan when she was 5 years old. The teaching process moves my daughters through a series of basic art training that progressively increase in skill needed. The kids completed a certain number of drawings with different mediums (oil pastel, colored pencils, watercolors and acrylic) before moving on to the next level. They also learn to work on various types and sizes of surfaces from paper to canvas board. The instructors are amazing and the environment accepting, encouraging and fun, but at the same time controlled. My kids feel so accepted and comfortable there. They love the classes and teachers very much.

I studied art with Jiao Ying, the principal and art teacher of Art World, for around 11 years and my sister started doing art with Mimi for 3 years. They are both very patient and great art teachers. I was able to improve in my art skills greatly, and because them I have won many awards for art. I'm always happy to be in her art class. They teach a variety of art skills, by starting with building your art foundation and moving you up. I would highly recommend you to come learn art with the teachers.
