A Fun Way to Learn
Our STEM After School Program is all about giving students the chance to explore different STEM topics through exciting experiments and projects. These activities help students learn in a fun way, while also developing important skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork. Whether they’re working with robots, studying plants, or learning about the science of flight, students are always engaged and excited to learn.
Fun and Engaging Classes
We offer many different classes that cover a wide range of STEM topics. Each class is designed to help students understand how the world works while giving them the opportunity to try out new things. Here are some of the cool classes they can take:
• Animal Science: Students learn about animals, their behavior, and how they live in the wild.
• Electricity and Miniature Robots: This class introduces students to the basics of electricity and robotics. They build small robots and learn how circuits work.
• General Chemistry: Students do experiments to understand how chemicals react and interact with each other.
• Kitchen Chemistry/General Engineering: Students use everyday kitchen items to explore chemistry and engineering in a creative way.
• Physics of Mechanisms: This class teaches students how simple machines like pulleys and levers work through fun experiments.
• Polymers & Slime: Students make their own slime while learning about polymers and the properties of materials.
• Science of Plants: Students study how plants grow, how they produce food through photosynthesis, and why they’re important for the environment.
• The Science of Bubbles: Students learn about the chemistry behind bubbles, such as why they pop and how surface tension works.
• The Science of Flight: This class explores how airplanes fly and teaches students about the forces that make flight possible.
• The Solar System: Students learn about space, the planets, and the stars, exploring the mysteries of the universe.
