This is a new After School Program we are starting in April 2024 that is a kids club type of program from 3:30-6:30pm with different stations and activities offered for students to choose from everyday. The structure is different from our other class based after school program from 3:30-6:30pm (After School Program in Beaverton | Art World School), in that students are not participating in formal classes but choosing their own activities and stations. Students will be monitored by Art World School teachers and teaching assistants. The type of activities include:
– Core Subject Area Tutoring (Reading, Writing, Math) or homework help
– Drawing and painting on paper (students draw on their own with materials provided)
– A selection of Arts & Craft materials for origami, weaving, modeling clay, scratchboard, quilling, and more.
Students will have access to different drawing/painting and arts & crafts supplies, homework help & tutoring in core subject areas.
Art World School teachers and Teaching Assistants will help monitor and assist students.
