Summer is here, and our Summer Camps are happening! We’ve moved to a new location and updated our schedule a bit (more details soon). We’re thrilled about the changes we’ve made to Art World School and our Summer Camp!

Why Choose Our Summer Camp?

Our Summer Camp is the perfect place for your creatively-minded child to experiment with different materials, learn and improve their skills, and meet new friends with similar interests! Each week of the summer from June 17th to August 23rd has a different theme for the projects, from the wonders of space to cartoons and animation.

Daily Schedule

Class Structure

The day is broken up into six classes: Fine Art (drawing and painting), Clay, Arts & Crafts, 3D Art, Calligraphy, and optionally Mixed Media. Each class, except for 3D Art, is 75 minutes (or 60 minutes if your child is below the age of six), leaving plenty of time to both absorb new instructions and create something amazing. Don’t worry, even with a full schedule, there are breaks between classes for students to relax, eat snacks, and play.

Drop-off and Pickup Times

Each day of Summer Camp starts with drop-off at 8:45 AM and ends with pickup at 6:00 PM. If that feels too long for your child, no problem! We also offer Half-Days, where you can choose either the morning (8:45 AM-1:30 PM) or afternoon (1:45 PM-6:00 PM) sessions.

Flexible Scheduling

Each week is highly flexible. You don’t have to sign up for the whole week if you don’t want to! While our weeks have themes (listed on our website), each day is self-contained, so you can pick and choose how many days and what themes your child might want to do. We also offer Before Care from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM for an extra fee if needed.

Outdoor Activities and Additional Options

Students don’t have to stay inside all day! With parental permission, we take them to Somerset West Playground for recess after lunch. It’s just a quick 4-minute drive away, giving them a chance to burn off energy and enjoy some fresh air. If they prefer to stay inside or if the weather is bad, that’s okay too! We offer Yoga and Mixed Media at school during that time, so there are always options for our students.
