Art World School’s After School Program has gotten an exciting update! Many of our students from Findley Elementary have been familiar with our program over the past few years, and now we’re excited to share our new schedule with both old and new students. With free pick-up service available for students enrolled at least four days a month and a special offer for the first week, this is the perfect time to join and experience the enhanced program.

We’ve added more options and flexibility to better suit your child’s needs, making it easier than ever to find something they’ll love. Come see what’s new and discover all the great changes we’ve made!

New Flexible Schedule (2:45 PM – 4:00 PM)

We’ve introduced a new flexible section to our class schedule from 2:45 PM to 4:00 PM. During this time, students can choose between Homework Help and Tutoring, just as they have in previous years. Additionally, we’re excited to offer three new options:

• Yoga: In Yoga, students can relax and stretch, helping them unwind after school.
• Studio Art: Studio Art allows students to work on their own creative projects with guidance from their teachers.
• Chess & Games: For those who enjoy strategy and fun, Chess & Games provide an engaging option.

This new flexibility gives students the chance to explore different interests and skills!

Continuing Fine Arts Excellence (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we maintain the same high-quality Fine Arts classes that our families have gotten used to, from Fine Art to Clay. While we’re excited about the new offerings, we can’t skip over the foundational classes that have been a key part of our program. Be sure to check the After School Page on our website for the weekly schedule.

New Evening Classes (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

To round out the evening, we’ve introduced three exciting new classes from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM:

• Beginner Animation and Digital Art: For students ages 7 and up, using our school iPads.
• STEM Classes: Taught by a guest teacher with years of experience in after-school STEM education.

Month-to-Month Educational Focus

All our classes will now have a month-to-month educational focus, allowing you to track your child’s learning and skill progression throughout the year. For example, this month (August), our STEM classes will focus on the Science of Bubbles, along with fundamental concepts in our art-based classes. New Schedule Option: Early Pick-Up (2:45 PM – 5:00 PM)

We’re excited to introduce a new schedule option for students who only need to attend until 5:00 PM. This option runs from 2:45 PM to 5:00 PM and follows the same class structure as our regular schedule, with continued pick-up service.

The main difference is that you’ll pick up your child earlier, allowing you to benefit from reduced costs. We understand that some Findley students don’t require care for the full evening, and we hope this new option provides the flexibility and savings your family needs.
