We’re super excited to share some amazing news! Seven talented students from Art World School won awards at the Santa Clara County Parks Earth Day Art Contest!
The contest was all about art for our planet. Kids got to show what Earth Day means to them or how to use less plastic at home.
We already told you about some winners, but we made a mistake! Two more students deserved a shout-out, and we apologize for missing them.
First, let’s hear about Olivia S.! She’s been with us for almost a year and created a beautiful picture with crayons and pastels for the “What Earth Day Means to You” theme. Her artwork showed people and nature getting along perfectly, and it won the Pre-K category!
But that’s not all! Nishika, another Art World School student, is our Grand Prize Winner! She drew an awesome picture with colored pencils showing two hands holding a half-globe together. On one side, there was nature, and on the other, there were buildings and machines. The picture took a lot of time and effort, and it shows, Nishika has been taking art classes with us for a few years, and we’ve loved seeing her improve. We can’t wait to see what she does next, and again, congrats on winning the Grand Prize!
Conclusion:
We are incredibly proud of our students at Art World School for their outstanding achievements in the Santa Clara County Parks Earth Day Art Contest. Their artworks are not just creative expressions but powerful reflections of their commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability. Olivia S. and Nishika, in particular, have shown exceptional talent and growth, embodying the spirit of our art programs. They have not only inspired us with their art but also demonstrated their dedication to making a difference through creativity.
As we continue to nurture and support our students in their artistic journeys, we eagerly anticipate more inspiring moments like these. Congratulations once again to all our remarkable winners!
