Art World School students once again win awards in an international art competition. Congratulations to Damon (4th grader) for winning the Creativity Award and Keya (6th grader) for winning the Technique Award in the 2021 Songbird Art Contest! Students from all over the world submitted entries to this competition where they portray a songbird in their art.
Damon chose to draw a Yellow-Rumped Warbler with gouache on watercolor paper and Keya chose to draw an American Robin with acrylic on canvas. Both students finished their artwork for the contest in Fine Art classes at Art World School under the guidance of school director and art teacher Mimi Yan.
Mimi currently teaches one-on-one, private, and small group Fine Art classes. Her students win national and international art competitions every year under her guidance and have strong art portfolios. She also manages Art World School and trains other art teachers to optimize teaching quality at school.
The complete list of winners to the contest can be found here: Songbird Art Winners – Wildlife Forever
Congratulations again to Damon and Keya, and all other Art World School students for participating in the art contest!
