Art World School Students Shine on Trimet Buses and Benches!

After School Poster Art Contest

Earlier this year, Washington County held an After School Poster Art Contest. This contest invited students from all over the county to create posters showing their love for different after-school programs. Students from Kindergarten to Twelfth Grade could join, and they could use any art medium as long as their work was original and included a title that showed what they loved about their after-school activities.

Quick Turnaround, Big Results

The time to submit entries was shorter than in other contests, but the students at Art World School met the challenge! Both our Fine Art Program and After School Program students worked hard to finish their posters by the January deadline. Out of six winners, five were from Art World School. We are incredibly proud of our talented students!

Celebrating Our Winners

Until now, their artwork hadn’t been shown on the buses and benches. But after eight months, we are excited to announce that you can now see the art of Charlotte (1st place in the Kindergarten through Elementary School division) and Ayushka (1st place in the Middle through High School division) on TriMet buses and benches across Washington County!

Spreading Joy Through Art

We are thrilled to see the artwork of our dedicated students proudly displayed throughout the city! Their creativity brings joy to our community. If you spot one of these buses, we’d love for you to take a photo and tag us online! We love celebrating their achievements together. Your support means the world to us!

For a year from your sign-up date, you receive classes, camps, and programs at member pricing, 1 free class, 1 package of art supplies valued at $59, and an Art Bag to hold it all in!

Mindbody is the site we use for scheduling individual classes. Please use our website to enroll for any camps or days in our After School Program. If you are a new student, you can place the order for anything on our website first and we will create a Mindbody account for you if it’s for individual classes. If you already have a Mindbody account, please use that account to schedule for any individual classes.

No Problem! Full Day and Half Day camp packages can be used for any No School Day, Winter Camp, or Spring Camp dates during the same school year. T

These days can also be used for Summer Camps, however as the Summer Camp is more expensive they will only cover a portion of the cost and you will pay the difference if there is a price difference

The enrollment form does not currently allow for you to select multiple days on the built-in calendar. However, if you note any additional days you’d like to sign up for in the Notes section, we will make sure to reserve all the days you asked for upon receiving payment.
