Art World School is excited to hold another student art show at Portland Art Museum in 2022. The art show will be from 3-5pm in the Mark Building of the Portland Art Museum and showcase student artwork from all levels and ages. All Art World School students are welcome to participate in the show with completed works reviewed by the school director Mimi Yan. Visitors are all welcome to visit the show and see all the amazing works completed by students.
As an annual tradition, Art World School’s student art shows at the Portland Art Museum help students share works with each other so that they can learn from viewing superb works from their peers. The shows also teach students about displaying their works and presenting their works to an audience, visually and vocally explaining the ideas as well as process of competing their works. It is also an opportunity for Art World School students who won art competitions to showcase their original works.
This is a formal event organized by Art World School at the Portland Art Museum with professional display of student artwork, live music, and ceremony where students are presented their signed certificates by the Portland Art Museum chief curator Brian Ferriso. Current and new students at Art World School are all welcome to participate and can contact Art World School for instructions and sign up on their Mindbody accounts, then arrange for their portfolio of works completed at Art World School to be reviewed by the school director first.
Students in Art World School’s Fine Art Program or After School Program taking drawing and painting classes in Portland, Beaverton, Bethany, and surrounding areas are welcome to participate.
